Johan first joined AKJ in 1998 and was made head of client services in 2000. In 2005 he left AKJ to join HQ Bank, as senior project manager for electronic trading, in his native Sweden. He returned to AKJ in 2007 taking on a senior role on the trading desk. In 2016 he was promoted to head of risk management. Johan holds a MSc from the Stockholm School of Economics, with a specialization in finance.
